Spring has brought out the wildlife around the house. And the spring rains brought out even more with the lake's water level up.

Spotted this little guy one evening on a walk around the lake. I think it's a banded water snake and not a cotton mouth water moccasin.
This was the first big water snake we spotted on our lake. It was probably over three feet.
